Turn 67 Minutes into 67 Kennels of Hope

We have a heartfelt mission this Mandela Day: to provide 67 kennels and essential care packages to dogs in need. By providing these vital resources, we can improve the shelter conditions and well-being for the beloved pets in the community.
 
In collaboration with Mdzananda Animal Clinic in Khayelitsha, we’ve identified responsible pet owners in the community who prioritise their pets' health despite facing financial challenges. They diligently attend clinic appointments to ensure their pets are sterilised, healthy, and receive timely vaccinations. However, despite their best efforts, these dedicated owners lack the means to provide proper kennels for their companion animals, leaving them to improvise shelters with whatever materials they can find.

What we do with your support

FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues
animals in need and protects them.

pP_Reveal-1Since 1988 we reveal inappropriate and life-threatening conditions for animals. We campaign and raise awareness of issues, lobbying for the protection of animals under direct human influence.
pP_Rescue-2We rescue animals in need worldwide, ending the suffering of animals with continuing help and medical care. Over the years, we have rescued more than 400 bears and big cats, among many other species.

We provide a safe home for wildlife such as big cats, bears, and orangutans rescued from non-species-appropriate keeping conditions around the world. We operate 13 sanctuaries and cooperation projects where rescued animals can start over.
